Venue
Austria's capital Vienna
spreads along both sides of the "Blue"
Danube at the very foothills of the Alps. There
is the "old Vienna" with the beauty
of the imperial period and the beautiful art nouveau
facades and the "New Vienna" with modern
office complexes, the United Nations Headquarters
and more.
Vienna has once more become a buzzing metropolis
in the heart of Europe, connecting East and West.
No other European city can boast such a long history
as a melting pot for numerous European cultures.
Vienna is well known for its buildings and its
history, which of course are only a backdrop for
the daily culture that can still be found in the
concert halls, opera houses and cafes. Most points
of interest can be reached by foot or the excellent
public transportation system.
The Hilton Vienna is Austria's largest
Congress Hotel and situated adjacent to the popular
"Stadtpark" in the very heart of Vienna.
The old town (Innere Stadt) with its famous buildings
such as the St. Stephen's Cathedral or the Opera
House is within walking distance from the Hilton
Vienna, which is directly connected to the Vienna
International Airport by the City Airport Train.
